Re: corrected proof

hi Lauren,
I just finished integrating your notes. Thank you, and sorry it took me a beat to get back to functional.
I wanted to check back on a couple of fairly minor things before I send this back to H9.
1. You added two quotes. (in the blurb, and in your intro). Should these be footnoted or otherwise referenced?
2. 47.1.13 (to use your system of tracking), you found a very good typo that the square brackets repeat an "s". The original quote uses the word forecast without the s, so I added the s, hence the square brackets. Should the s be maintained in th square brackets and the other s be removed?
that's it, a million thanks and a happy new year?
(more soon, but ready for you to suggest a time to get to it).

Hello!

Thank you for integrating those notes! Glad to hear you are approaching “ready” – I’m three week back and only just feeling up to diving back into life.

Can we start up our shared to do list again? If you already have one going, or are using this old one, send me a link!

1. Thanks for this note about the quotes - yes, this need to be attended to!

> I want to share a new draft of the blurb with you but I just sent it to a friend this morning for a final review - she is really good at making things succinct and digestible. So, I’ll get back to you on that front asap

> A footnote should be added after the quote I have added to my intro - it should read: “See “Artist Narrative” in this book.”

2. Yes, the sentence should read: “… and recuperation, “forecast[s] a shift…”

More soon,
Lauren

hi dear Lauren,
I know! slow going!
a. I can start a draft to-do list, and when we meet (when? no rush, but always looking forward to the pleasure of talking) we can go through, add, cross off, or divide tasks as needed (self-evident, that is what a to-do list is for!)
b. ok, I will wait for the blurb update before footnoting the potential additional quote. thank you for asking a friend to review it!
c. done.
d. will correct now -- this was also my instinct but I just wanted to verify.

thank you and warm greetings,
Josh

Great!

Rose proposed some good trims but also said it was important to introduce you up front. This now feels quite balanced to me as a text for the book. If we need a shorter version, we can remove Dana’s quote and add something like "texts explore precarity, compromising funding models, the entrenchment of capital and questions of individual and collective agency.”

Let’s meet next week! I’m free Wednesday afternoon, or all day on Thursday.
