Re: Follow-Up CCA Grant + DIGEST

Hi Teresa,

I hope you're doing well!
I had a couple of questions that came up as I was working on the CCA grant today:

1. I was wondering if I could have a small blurb about the plant thematic for DIGEST. I think just 2-3 sentences would be really helpful to give more context and credibility to the grant.

2. Do you have the revenue lines for DIGEST sales from last year? How much does it sell for, and how much would the digital version sell for?
Do you think I should include the expected sales in our revenue in the budget?

Could you send me your bio as well?

4. I would need the actual essays for DIGEST 5 to calculate the translation fee. I can also base it on the past edition if you don't have them close by, no problem! Just let me know.

I think that's all for now. I'll be working on the writing some more early tomorrow morning. I would like to meet with you at some point tomorrow to go over the budget, we can do a quick Zoom call whenever you are free!

Thank you so much and have a great night!
Best,

Camille-Zoé Valcourt-Synnott (she/her) — Fundraiser/Grantwriter

Hi Camille,

1. I'll send this shortly, but I wanted to get you the rest of this information right away.

2. DIGEST has a purchase price of $15 but we didn't sell any, so there's no revenue from it. I think digital copies could be sold for $5. We can chat about adding revenue to the budget when we talk today.

3. Yes, please use the bio you have for ███, it was updated only a month ago. Mine is below.

4. I have no records of the original essays, only the essays once they've been formatted. I suspect there may have been personal email accounts being used. Calculate the translation fee based on 2000 words per essay.

I'm free for a zoom call anytime after 12pm Toronto time. Let me know what works for you!
