Hi both,

I spoke to a grant officer at the OTF grant and the gist of our conversation was that we can definitely apply to the RCF stream (which is the only stream the OTF is running) for a move, but we need to frame our ask as being covid related. For instance, our broad lack of space will be challenging to have any in-person events in the foreseeable future while respecting strict social distancing. We can also speak to the uptick in theft and crime in the neighbourhood that began during COVID. Another COVID-related need to move would be our general layout—with the desk and no proper office area makes social distancing from patrons entering the gallery challenging and sometimes impossible.

Let me know if you want to have a quick meeting before Wednesday to talk this out a bit more, or perhaps just Camille and I can meet if you're busy, Josh. I have to drive into Toronto on Sunday, but I'm otherwise free this afternoon after 2.30pm and Monday.

Let me know what you both think.

My best,

Hi!
Super, thanks for checking on that.
I am really glad that we have this information to better strategize the application.
I am also fine with meeting on Monday.
Looking forward to it.
Noon Toronto time? Or a bit later?
