Invitation to join the Council’s 2024 Annual Public Meeting (APM)

The APM of the Canada Council for the Arts will be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, starting at 4:00 p.m. (EST).

 

Jesse Wente, Chair of the Board, and Michelle Chawla, Director and CEO of the Council, will share insights on Canada’s arts scene, highlights of upcoming initiatives, and updates on the Council’s 2021-2026 strategic plan. A question-and-answer period will follow.

Registration

Invitees have the option of attending in person at the Canada Council’s main offices in Ottawa or joining via livestream anywhere in Canada.

 

After the APM, participants attending in person are invited to a reception for the arts community in the Âjagemô Exhibition Space located at 150 Elgin Street in Ottawa, starting at 5:00 p.m. (EST). Please join us.

Questions

There will be a question-and-answer period. Queries may be submitted by APM attendees before March 15, 2024, by emailing apm@canadacouncil.ca.

 

While the Council will make every effort to address as many questions as possible, should the topic of your question not be addressed during the event, or if you have questions throughout the year, you can send them to: info@canadacouncil.ca.

Accessibility

The APM will be accessible for live in-person and virtual participation in English, French, ASL, and LSQ with simultaneous closed captioning. Should you require assistance or specific accommodation, to ensure that you can fully participate in the event, please indicate your requirements when completing the In-person Registration Form or send an e-mail to apm@canadacouncil.ca.
