Copyright boiler plate for colophon

Dear Jonathan,

Hello again and hoping you are well.

In drafting the colophon for The Employee, I am wondering if you could share AM’s standard copy right language. Ideally it would be language that insures writers retain rights to their work, but if that is not your policy I would still be grateful to receive your boiler plate.

Thanks a million,
Lauren

Hi Jonathan,
I just wanted to echo Lauren’s request, and to also ask if now might be a good time to finalize some kind of contract with Art Met (and FCG perhaps)?
Thank you!
Josh

Hi both,

Sorry for the delay with this. CC’ing Blair here for continuity.

We don’t have an official boilerplate for this, but typically we’d see something like

©2024 Art Metropole, Forest City Gallery, the artist and authors. All rights reserved.

Basically a shared copyright — though its never been our practice to deny republishing of any texts.

I happy with any amendments you want to make with this. I will follow with our current co-publishing agreement.

J

Dear Jonathan and Blair,

Thanks very much for this follow up!

Looking forward to receiving the co-publishing agreement.

Best,
Lauren
