Dear Dana,
I hope you’re keeping afloat in a sea of the most unimaginably awful circumstances. I’m writing to let you know that after much care and consideration, The Employee is currently being bound, and will be shipping to us in the next few days. It still doesn’t feel real, but I’m really looking forward to having this project completed, not to mention seeing the book as a finished object in the world at long last.
I have a few updates for you about book launches and promotions.
We are looking to launch in a few different places across Canada.
This is the plan for now, but there could be some changes as the pieces fall into place.
1. We're aiming to launch at the Libby Leshgold Read bookstore in Vancouver on June 5.
2. We're planning a launch at Art Metropole in Toronto on June 15.
3. We're planning a launch in Montreal tbd end of September / early October.
I know all of these are a long shot for you in LA, and we’re not able to cover long distance contributors costs for these launches, so it’s more a message to let you know that these launches will be happening. If, on some impeccable coincidence, you happen to be planning to be in these cities on these dates, do let us know and we’ll gladly include you in any book launch anywhere, any time.
We will send out an email and instagram post announcing the publication in the next couple of weeks, and would be thrilled if you could also share them in your network.
Also, please do send us your mailing address so we can ship copies of the book to you!
