The Employee is finally (almost) ready for lift off! It's been a long road, be we couldn’t be more happy with how the project has evolved and this resulting document.
I’m delighted to share with you the attached penultimate proof for review. You will see that it contains our final notes to H9 Design, who are back from holiday 27 January. So we’d be grateful if you could send me any additional notes you would like included before 24 January (so I have the weekend to incorporate them). We’re here if you have any questions and are happy to hop on a call.
As we are looking to print at the end of January, Josh and I are beginning to plan launches, and would love to collaborate with you on this if you would be interested in hosting a launch in Toronto.
We have also been in conversation with Stefan St. Lauren and M.A. Marleau about presenting a panel on The Employee, including several contributors, at the upcoming ARCA conference in Ottawa this June. If Art Met is planning to be there, this could be a great opportunity to bring the book’s community together.
Launches in Berlin and Vancouver (with Bopha Chhay at the Libby Leshgold) are also in the works, and this week we are re-igniting our conversations with Forest City Gallery’s new director.
