I'm so jealous but also happy you're going!!

Here's what we think you might look for:
- check that the overall printing quality is good
- check  that the metallic ink coverage looks good (note that it won't be SHINY shiny bc the paper is uncoated, but it should sparkle a little)
- check that the opacity of the title (on the cover) is good and that you can see the contract text a little bit, peeking out through the silver
- check that the grey in the book looks dark enough and feels similar to the metallic

And please take plenty of videos and photos! We would love to see the process at Graphius, the book coming out of the binder, sheets coming out of the printer... whatever you're there to witness.

But mainly, have fun! :D

Hi everyone,

The book looks spectacular!!! Honestly, it is a complete triumph!!!

The visit was really lovely and interesting.  I took many pictures and videos of the printing and also a tour of the facilities. You can find the images here.

Everything looked good to me during the printing. Apparently the binding is scheduled to happen in the middle of the night, so Spencer can’t take pictures of that, but there is one final step with the covers that he will take pictures of for us.

If we were to add 4 copies (making the total to ship 14 copies) to the Montréal shipment, we need to add $ 45 (or € 41,50) to the shipping cost.

We can no longer send as one box. 14 copies would mean sending as 2 boxes in one consignment.

 

Please let me know if we are to stick with 10 copies or amend to ship 14 copies.
