Canada Heritage Grant

The Employee <employee@forestcitygallery.com> To: █████@easternbloc.ca

Dear Jacinthe Marcil,

I am reaching out because I saw that Eastern Bloc recently announced being recipient of a Canada Heritage Grant to relocate their operations.
I am currently working for Forest City Gallery, an artist-run center in London, Ontario. FCG has been wanting to relocate for a while now and we are planning on applying to the Canada Heritage Cultural Spaces Fund in the upcoming months.
I was wondering if you (or the individuals who worked on developing and writing the grant) would be willing to share a bit of your process or briefly meet with me to discuss it?
It would be very much appreciated!

Thank you and I am looking forward to hearing back from you.

Best,

Camille-Zoé Valcourt-Synnott (she/her) — Fundraiser/Grantwriter

Dear Camille-Zoé,

I assisted the general director that applied for this grant, and I am now in charge of that project myself. I would gladly have a quick chat with you to discuss how we approach this situation and the funding process. To be honest, I am not sure how helpful I would be able to be as it's certain the funding structures work differently in Québec. We had provincial support that pushed in our favor for that specific grant, but you may have a similar structure in Ontario as well.

Let me know if you have some time next week. I would say something around lunch hour, between 12 and 13.30 pm, would probably be ideal as per my current schedule.

Warmly,
