London Community Grant Program (LCGP)

Hi Teresa,

I was just reading about the London Community Grant Program after our meeting, and I can't seem to find the specific application questions anywhere on the website? Do you know if we have to register first to have access to the questions directly on the portal? I can fill this if you want, I just wanted to double-check with you: https://cityoflondon.smartsimple.ca/#redacted

Also, I saw that there are a couple of info sessions on March 5, 9 and 11. Do you think it could be helpful if I/we attended?
I also uploaded the evaluation criteria in the drive to help us see what they are looking for.

Let me know if you want me to register us to the portal!

Thank you :)
Best,

Hi Camille,

I registered last week. I didn't see a way link another person/email so here is my login info:

███████████

I have it in my calendar to attend a session!

I also wanted to email you about yesterday, but I wanted to give you some space. I'm afraid that you're not getting the support that you should be. I also want to assure you that if you are ever feeling overwhelmed the best thing to do is just let me know. These jobs are simply not worth feeling crummy and unhealthy, so if you think you need more help with anything or you need a break I can take over at any time, and it can remain totally confidential if you like, too.

My best,

Hi Teresa,

So I looked up the portal, and like you mentioned it seems very similar to OAC, which is good in a way since we know what to expect, haha. I think I will also try to make it to one of the info session as I feel it might help answer some of my questions regarding this grant. After going through the application online I think it might be a good idea for you to take the lead on this one (at least right now); I can join after we talk about it in more detail.

Thank you for following up after yesterday. I'm sorry if I gave you the impression that I wasn't feeling supported. I guess I can't help to feel self-conscious about asking for help or extra assistance because I don't want to burden you with more work as I know you have lots on your plate already. It felt really good to hear that both you and Josh go through these unproductive phases, and I feel very lucky to be able to be vulnerable with you both. I just want you to know that I feel super grateful for this opportunity as I'm learning a lot!
I'll definitely work on asking for help when I'm feeling like that in the future.

Thanks again :)

Best,
