Dear both,
I am just updating a project timeline as a way of recording the project, because I think it’s a good way to chart the work’s progress and keep track of the applications over time and the larger realm of the heightened precarity of public arts funding during covid.
In doing this, I realized that there are a few pieces of information that I would like to gather, if possible.
1) in our meeting earlier in January, I believe Camille mentioned that the CCA application was declined as ineligible, is that correct?
If so, would it be possible to update the application file with a screenshot or copy of the email in which that information was communicated?
2) Is there an email or other communiqué that has come from OAC to explain or even announce the change from confirmed operating funding over to the requirement to re-apply? Did the portal simply change from requiring a report to requiring a new application, or is there also an explanation panel? If it’s possible to get a screenshot or copy of this information that would also be great.
3) LAC: in addition to the redacted public disclosure that we already discussed, is there a way to demonstrate the fact that they have simply neglected to publish updates since July? Maybe we can talk about how to record this next week / depending on how the meeting last night went with Alex, perhaps some of the responses to their outreach might make sense as a way to indicate this.
Thank you both so much, and sorry if I am overwhelming you with requests, there’s just a lot to think about here and I don’t want to miss the chance to record things accurately and systematically.
Many thanks,
Josh

Hi both,

I'm on it for items #1 and #2. I have screenshots that I will upload on the drive.
For #3, I can also take a screenshot of the last update on their website from this summer until we think of something else.

Thanks!
My best,

Hi Josh,

Thanks for your email.

1) & 2) Camille is on it!
3) I agree that probably the best course here is to simply screenshot their website. I have not received any communication via email either, so not sure how to document an absence of communication, per se. Let's discuss this on Wednesday.

You're absolutely not overwhelming us with requests! I appreciate that you're thinking about the documentation as we move along.

My best,

thanks to both of you for following up on this.
I am so lucky to be doing this project together with you.
See you Wednesday.
