Hey Josh!

We have a few questions about the website. We have a 75% styled version of desktop (not responsive/smaller screens yet), but we also have some questions :)


  1. About page:

    1. Should the logos link anywhere?

    2. Final contributors list—is this in the book, or will you provide a separate list?

    3. Will you want to link to performances videos on Vimeo?

  2. Splash: what should the final text be on the splash?

  3. Emails:

    1. Should we remove/disable all links? Any links in particular (like zoom links)?

    2. Assuming any attachments will not load, and will just look like icons.

  4. Inbox: Email ordering: newest to oldest?

  5. Max is wondering when you'll be done adding/editing all content

Hi Farah,
Great to hear that you are making progress!
I looked quickly at the linked website, and it looks so fabulous.

To answer your questions:

About page:
1. It wouldn’t hurt to have the logos linking to the orgs involved.
2. I think it’s hilarious to see every interlocutor listed as a contributor as you have already done. I’m hoping that this list will be correlated when the archive is finished — people whose emails have been deleted, or redacted should obvs not be included as contributors, but otherwise, I think that since the list of contributors to the email archive is much longer than that of the publication, it should be different.
3. I think it’s very important to link to the videos of the performances.

Splash page:
What text do we have there now? When do you need a final text by?

Emails:
Please make sure that all links are disabled.
Agreed, attachments should be icons (we already discussed images).

Inbox
I think the order should be oldest to newest, and that instead of having things separated into pages, if possible, it should be a continuous scroll.
I want to conclude the archive and hand over the final upload when we send the book to print.
