Printer update:

I've asked for some clarification from the first printer we met (the "best") and the full black and white version with lay-flat binding, with the fancy cover (different paper signatures) is 10K CAD, with delivery to Berlin. 

I've asked for some clarification on the other prices, which aren't too distant, where we have graphite + colour. 

We also met with a second printer today and will meet w/ the 3rd tomorrow. 

So no matter what, we have one very promising option!

Hi Farah,
That’s really helpful as a gauge of what to consider. TBH I would be totally happy with that as what we go with. In any case, let’s see what our options are and then we can make an informed decision, but it’s already a relief to have that as a benchmark.
In other updates, I just finished checking over the proof and sent it to Lauren yesterday. 
I have also final checked up to page 43 out of 48 from the email archive. I think I will finish everything that is uploaded by the end of the week, and then I can work up the splash page and credits. There will be a final upload (to capture sending to print, etc.) but just to let you know where things stand, it feels kind of on track.
Also, I am still holding onto the happiness of having gotten to see you and spend time together in person. That was so precious!

We just met with the 3rd and final printers... honestly, they are all the best across the board, and I'm so excited for this amazing chance to build these relationships. 

Graphius has a couple questions (which I know they all will eventually):
- Who is paying for the order (assuming you?)
- What is the billing address?
- What is the Berlin shipping address?
- Will you pay in Euros? (they also accept GBP and USD, but I figured Euro?)
- VAT: they are trying to figure out if you will be charged or not (typically companies aren't but individuals are... but are you considered a Canadian client or a European one....)

Here are the answers to the printers’ questions:
- Who is paying for the order (assuming you?)
I am. They should invoice my legal name, █████ Schwebel

- What is the billing address?
████ ███ ██ ██████████████ █████████ ███ ███

- What is the Berlin shipping address?
They can ship to my address in Berlin: ██████████████ ████ █████ ██████

- Will you pay in Euros? (they also accept GBP and USD, but I figured Euro?)
I can pay in EU but it means I also need to pay to convert from CAD (which I guess they don’t accept, but if it’s still cheaper than the prices offered in CAD then I guess I will pay in EU).

- VAT: they are trying to figure out if you will be charged or not (typically companies aren't but individuals are... but are you considered a Canadian client or a European one....)
I think / hope that since my billing address is Canadian and since I pay taxes in Canada, I would be considered a Canadian client, but an individual. Unless it would be possible and more cost effective for them to bill through House9 and I pay you back.

Thanks so much for all of this Josh. Yes, we can pay because we have a USD account that allows low-cost wire transfers. I can ask for the estimates in USD, and perhaps it's cleaner as well because we're business w/ all the numbers, etc. You can reimburse the equivalent in CAD on the day of the transfer.

I'll share this with the printer :)
