Hi Josh and Lauren,

Here is the full book ready for proofreading: https://www.dropbox.com/#redacted

We’ve added some comments/questions in the PDF.

You may notice that there’s two essays that have a bit more of an elaborate/new design now. We did a lot of tests, and we feel we’ve presented the strongest and most cohesive option here. Hope you like them as well!

Also, you’ll notice the black bars are missing on the edges of the essays right now. This will be done as a last step.

In terms of timeline:
  • from the moment we receive your copy edits, it will take us about two weeks to incorporate your edits and adjust the ragging, adjust URL break-points and finalize the colophon;
  • then you’ll have to review/approve those changes;
  • once approved, it goes to print;
  • printing will also require your approval for paper. Is it confirmed that you’ll both be in Montreal December 6 to December 9? Should we figure out a day/time to look at paper together? I'm going to the Momus event and could bring the papers with me if you'll both be there.
  • Once printer proofs are approved (if there are edits at that stage, that will add a bit of time), they’ll be good to go into full production. We should budget at least a month for this (printing and binding).
Let us know what you think! Do you have a guesstimate of your proofreading timeline?

Thanks so much!

Wow, thank you all so much!
I can’t wait to get into the final stages of this process.
I eagerly looked through it and it looks wonderful.
Lauren and I will get back to you in time with our notes, but I just wanted to fully celebrate this moment with you. I’m so blown away and grateful that we got here.

Hi everyone,

I’ve been through about half of the pdf and it is looking so fantastic!!! I’m so grateful at all the hard work and creativity that you have put into this - thank you!

I will take the rest of the week and Josh will do his review next week, so you can expect our notes by November 18th.

I am still on for my trip to Montreal, so looking at paper then will be terrific.

All best,
Lauren
