I have a follow-up request for support for redacting and double-checking the email archive.
If you need any material from me to do this, do let me know, but I think you should be able to accomplish this without anything additional.
What needs to be done is to cross-reference the contributors with consent.
So what this means is that since around 2022 when I decided to start the email archive officially, there are emails entitled publication request, or request for consent. They should all be fairly obvious since they start around early summer 2022, have similar subject lines, and just never end.
I would be so grateful if you could go through these and cross reference them with each contributors emails in the archive to make sure that:
1. I have communicated with all people in the archive — please flag those who I have not yet sent a request to; (there are some people who I emailed and never heard back from, in some cases I am taking this as implied consent).
2. In cases where people have specific requests for redactions, please ensure that these have been honoured. If you see any places where requested redactions are missing, please note these down for me to follow up.
In a lot of these cases I have remembered that there are specific requests and left those emails “unfinished” in the archive, but I am also sure I have made some mistakes given the scale of this.
If you have any suggestions or concerns do let me know.
