The Employee update

dear Dana,
I hope that you are well!
I am very excited to let you know that Lauren and I are getting close to having a complete draft of the publication.!. With this approaching, we are reaching out to contributors to request a biography to include in the publication.
If you would be able to send us a third person text up to 250 words in length that positions your experience relative to the text you have contributed that would be greatly appreciated.
Our internal deadline for this is November 3.
Thank you so much!
warmly,
Josh

Hi Josh,

Nice to hear from you, and so exciting that the publication is coming together! Here's my bio, let me know if it's too short/not particular enough to my contribution or if you think it will work:

Dana Kopel is a writer and editor living in Los Angeles. As an editor at the New Museum in New York, she helped organize the New Museum Union-UAW Local 2110. She subsequently worked as a staff organizer with the Office and Professional Employees International Union Local 153, helping nonprofit staff unionize. Her writing on art and labor appears in The Nation, The Baffler, Frieze, SSENSE, and numerous other publications. Dana is currently a PhD student at UCLA, where she focuses on histories of labor and working-class organizing in the twentieth-century United States.

Best,
Dana
