extra check

Josh Schwebel <privatejosh@gmail.com> To: michelle lacombe <█████████████████ >

dear Michelle,
I am pretty sure that this was self-explanatory, but is it ok that our emails, so far as they concerned The Employee, can be included in the archive?
I am happy to send them to you to review, if you want to check them over before releasing your consent.

Michelle Lacombe <█████████████████> To: Josh Schwebel <privatejosh@gmail.com>

Hey Josh,
Can you please resend to me please?
While i am sure it will be fine, because so many of our exchanges shift between personal and professional, i am curious to know what made the cut and what didn't.
Thanks!
M

Josh Schwebel <privatejosh@gmail.com>

yes, I will need a few days to gather them together, but no problem. I feel like most of our personal communication happens on messenger, while we rarely email / only emailed to communicate about this project, so things stayed more or less separate, there's always a bleed, and it's best if you check it over.
but it will take a bit of time to gather things / convert to pdf.

Take all the time you need.
I’ll be quick with my review so as not to hold things up.

Cool. Thanks.

Josh Schwebel <privatejosh@gmail.com> To: Michelle Lacombe <█████████████████>

hi Michelle.
Ok. So I compiled it all, and I gotta say, I'm really surprised at the amount of correspondence there is. I had this idea that we barely and only briefly had an email trace of our work on this together. Surprise surprise, there are SO many emails. 1. I am really glad you asked to check it over. 2. My memory has so bad / this email archive is really overwhelming.

So. some basics. Your email address will be redacted, first of all. For anything else, please let me know what makes you feel uncomfortable.
I would like to preserve the narrative arc, where possible, but it's also important to submerge whatever you don't want anyone reading.
That said, as you know, there are literally thousands of emails in this mess, so the chances of anyone reading it are quite slim, but you never know. I will respect your wishes for what to publish and what to redact. Just let me know in as clear a way as possible.
thanks again,
Josh

Michelle Lacombe <█████████████████>

Okay, ill sweep through this today if i can!

Michelle Lacombe <█████████████████> To: Josh Schwebel <privatejosh@gmail.com>

Hey Josh,
That is definitely an archive. A wonderfully vague and boring way to follow the arc of the work. Nothing juicy or too personal - just lots of spelling mistakes - so you can print it all.

Wanna flag that correspondence 2023.04.05.13.08 seems to still have the email thread attached, which does not seem to be the case with all the other files. I am sure you are sifting through hundreds of these so maybe an external eye for formatting consistency is a good idea. Let me know if you want me to do that work for these pdfs.

Happy sprint to the end!
m

Josh Schwebel <privatejosh@gmail.com>

Phew!
Thanks for the consent, and for reading it all over. I agree. Wonderfully boring.
No worries about the email thread stuff. I only format the emails as pdfs in order to request consent. Everything is also processed through House9’s format that is coded for the website. The House9 design effectively doubled my workload, but… oh well, hahaha. I will do that work in that “backend” portal.
Thanks, it’s more of a limp towards the end than a sprint, but the mood boost is appreciated.
:)
