Hi Josh,
Here is my edit responding to the MAF fact-check. Although a bit high-handed, the notes are for the most part useful and were easy to address without significant changes.
There is one section where they are asking us to distinguish between stating that there was “no job description” and that the participants were provided with clear, though scant, “parameters” by the artist.
I think that your argument actually lives in the ambiguity between these two characterisations, and perhaps the MAF fact-check isn’t entirely on board with that. None-the-less, as it is in the end a matter of argument, clarifying a word or two to make the text “factual” does not actually alter the point you are making. I have made edits according to their stipulations and I believe that your argument is strengthened by them. (There is one question about removing a line that I wanted your permission on though.)
