just a quick nudge to follow up from my earlier email regarding the email archive.

I am attaching pdf exports of our correspondence, so you can see the content we discussed and properly evaluate what you would prefer to be redacted.

As I said above, personal email addresses, mailing addresses will be redacted, attachments will not be openable.

let me know how you feel about the proposal to include this correspondence in the archive, which is a giant, banal omnibus of the project's process.

I'm so sorry it's taken me forever to email you back about this! Thank you for bearing with me. Things at UCLA have been absolutely insane, as you can probably imagine. I'm sorry to hear Germany is still as bad as it sounds from here, but glad you have some comrades around you.

It's so exciting that the book is really coming together now! Did you and Lauren still want me to proofread it once it's in design? I know we haven't checked in about that in ages. And it's totally fine to have our emails in the online archive with contact info redacted.

it's no problem. Thanks for giving consent. And, more importantly, for your continued organizing.

As for proofreading, because the project has stretched on longer than expected, and because we invited additional contributors, my budget is much tighter than I would like. I don't really have any more money left over to pay you. Lauren and I will need to do this work ourselves, I am sorry to say.

I'm sorry to reneg on a work offer, and wish I could have done a better job anticipating and managing money, but this project has needed a certain amount of flexibility and patience in order to fully flesh out its content, and I've been more concerned about that than managing the budget, or punctually communicating. Working with you has been a positive and professional experience, and I hope this dropped ball doesn't damage that.
