Hi Mark, Farah, Louis, House9ers, Lauren.
I just wanted to reply to acknowledge receipt of your email, and to wish you all a good two week break.
I am going to take some time to think about the options re: font and (possible) colour. I feel also sad about the silver, because I do think it is sexy, but the readership of the books is really quite similar, and it would be a shame if the design’s similarity created a sense that our project is derivative of the other publication.
I think the idea of the rough draft, or the proof, or the working-draft are important, visually, as for example the use of the file name instead of the title, and I wonder if there is a colour or aesthetic of the draft that brings us some further ideas. Just some more thoughts…
Anyways, we will answer the questions in this email more thoroughly soon. Sending you patience and resilience to get through the stress.
Hugs,
Josh

Thanks Josh! You (and Lauren) always give such thoughtful feedback <3

We're off this and next week as you know, so I'll let this idea of "rough draft"/"work in progress" percolate in terms of colour use.

Receiving and resharing patience and resilience... don't we all need it now more than ever as we descend into authoritarian hellscapes.
