I hope you had a bit of a weekend after that long interview evening / afternoon.

I just wanted to check if you had any further reflections afterwards.

I didn’t really change my feelings about the candidates, but did have one further comment / consideration, which was ████ █ ███ ███ █████ ████ ██████ ███ ██ █████ ████ ███ █████████ ██ ██████████ ██████ ████ ████ ████ █████ ██ ███ ██████ ███ ██████████ ██ ███ █████ ██ ███████. █ ████ ███ ███ █████ ███ █████ ████████ ██ ██ ███████ ████ ███ █████ ███████ ███ █████ █████████ ███ █████ ███████████ ███████████ █████ ██ ███ ███ ██ ██████████ ███ ████████ █ ███ ██████████████

Anyway, just a thought.

So, my summary / steps for moving forward:

1) the best candidates were ██████ and █████████, but ██████ ██ ██████ ██ ███████ ███ ████ ██ ██████, and █████████ █████ ██ ██ ████ █████████ █████ ███████████. At this point, █████████ is my top choice but I have reservations about ███ ████ ██ ██████████ ███ ███ ████████

2) We agreed to interview some other candidates from the pool. My choices were ██ ██████ and ███████ ████ █████. With your go-ahead I would like to contact these two, for interviews on Thursday at 1:30 and 2:30.

3) with your approval I would also like to write to ███████ and █████████ to let them know that they will not be hired, and to write to ██████ and █████████ that we are still deciding and will let them know by the end of this week.

If there is anyone else that you would recommend I contact to interview, please let me know. Also, I will wait to send these emails until I hear from you one way or another.

Yes, please contact █████ ████████ and ███████ ████ █████ if you haven't already. I also think it's safe to write to ███████ and █████████ to let them know—no need to keep them waiting since we've very much decided against these candidates.

I am getting a bit anxious because I haven’t received replies from either ███████ or █████ to my new interview requests. 

ok █████ and ████ have both confirmed for tomorrow 1:30 and 2:30.

I'll forward zoom links when they are available.

thanks so much for setting up the zoom links. I feel pretty prepared for this round tomorrow, so maybe it's adequate to hop in 5 minutes ahead of time, just in case, and then maybe stay online longer afterwards to discuss our impressions.
