Seeking Grant-Writer

Josh Schwebel <privatejosh@gmail.com> To: ██████████████████████

dear █████,
I hope you are well, more or less, given the ongoing circumstances.
My name is Joshua Schwebel, and I am a Canadian artist.
I am currently working on a project with Forest City Gallery in London, Ontario, and am writing to you because of your teaching position in Guelph (parallel with your excellent artistic practice, which I have been following and inspired by for years, and which leads me to think that you will understand this project, and might be able to think of someone who will be a good fit).
I am seeking to hire someone part-time to work as a Grant-Writer and Fundraiser on-site in London. The job is part of my artistic work, funded by the Canada Council for the Arts. I am appending a brief description below. I thought it might be possible that you might know some students or recent graduates from the MFA program at Guelph, hopefully still living in Guelph or based in Southern ON, who could be looking for extra work, who are critical-minded, motivated to work in the artist-run sector, and who have strong and articulate writing skills. If so, I would be so grateful if you could direct them to this call. If you also would be able to share this within any MFA student list-serves, that would be so great.
Thank you so much,
warmest greetings,
Joshua Schwebel

Please share, especially with good grant writers living in Southern Ontario.
Deadline extended
Conceptual artist Joshua Schwebel (https://joshuaschwebel.com/home.html) is seeking a qualified candidate for a one-year non-renewable, part-time basis to assume responsibility for grant-writing and fundraising for Forest City Gallery (http://www.forestcitygallery.com/) artist-run centre in London, Ontario. The position is the initiative of the artist, made possible by a project grant awarded to the artist from the Canada Council for the Arts. The position is both a paid job opportunity working with Forest City Gallery, and the delegated enactment of a conceptual artwork. The successful candidate will work with the gallery director, fund-raising and finance committees, potential funders and sponsors, and the artists' community of London, Ontario to augment and secure funding for the Forest City Gallery artist-run centre.
Deadline for Applications Extended: August 2, 5pm EDT
