Healthy Community Fund - Last minute check

The Employee <employee@forestcitygallery.com> To: Director - Forest City Gallery <director@forestcitygallery.com>

Hi Teresa,

I just wanted to double-check a couple of things with you before submitting the Healthy Communities Fund.

1. For the permit, I looked on the City of London website and I just wanted to confirm that the permit we need to apply to is the Special Event Request Form? (they ask for the name of the permit we need for the event). There was no $ amount for that permit on the website but I googled and found on an Ontario website that the price of a permit if we are not selling any food/alcohol is 50$. That's the amount I put into the budget, I hope that sounds ok!

2. I was also wondering if you had the numbers of people currently subscibed to FCG's newsletter? I thought I could add it in the outreach strategy. If you can't find it easily, don't worry about it.

3. For the screening fees, I put looked at the CARFAC Fee Schedule and averaged it to 150$/ artist. I put 3,000$ total for the artist fees, since I am not sure how many can fit into the 90 min program (If there is a lot of shorter films, I just wanted to make sure we have enough in the budget). Let me know if you think it's too high and I can change it.

I think that's all! I'll just wait for your confirmation and I'll be ready to submit it.

Thanks!

Hi Camille,

The city will not give me a permit cost so I'm not sure what we should do there.

Hi Teresa,

Thank you for your quick reply!

For the permit, there is also the insurance form that can cost around 180$ (to be insured for 1 day for the event) so I added that as well. Hopefully between the 2 it should be enough? It's so weird that they don't put the price on their website...

Thanks for the other info!

Hi again,

One last thing! There is this signature needed on the last step of the application that I just saw, and I am not sure if I can sign... So I sent you an invite as a collaborator so that you can sign it! It's the last thing missing now :)

Thanks!

Hi Camille,

There is no healthy communities application on the dashboard of the portal, only the emergency community support fund, and the application form in our google drive has all fields empty so I'm not sure where I need to sign. I'm also off this weekend and don't have easy access to wifi so please give me a quick phone call and we can work it out that way.
