Hi Camille,

Just a quick note to let you know that over the past few+ weeks I've been grappling with some pretty serious burnout so I've been trying to be more mindful about my capacities in order mitigate the worst of it. I haven't been able to get to grant yet, but will be doing so today. I'll drop in all the missing info and should have it wrapped up by tomorrow morning.

Talk soon,
Teresa

Hi Teresa,

Thank you for being open about this. By no means did I intend to put pressure on you with my last email, I simply wanted to update you on my progress. We still have time with what is left before submitting, so definitely take the time you need!

Best,
Camille

Hi Camille,

I've gone through Josh's suggested edits and added my own edits, but not as suggestions. Instead, I just edited right in the doc to move the process along since I've been so slow doing my part. I've also input the numbers and questions that were highlighted in yellow.

There are also two comments I added that I'm curious about your thoughts on.

My best,

Hi Teresa,

Thanks so much for all the edits! It's much better now.
Good question - I found that question confusing too, as if it seems like they want us to say that if we don't get the grant we'll close? or that we only have the funds for 2 more months of operations or something? I guess it might be the case for some businesses, but FCG has operational grants that cover the main expenses... I think what you wrote is the best answer we can provide given the circumstances.

Have a great weekend!

Hi Camille,

In the eligible expenses it does state salaries, but when you spoke to the grant officer, did they say we could apply to hire new staff. Because the way this reads it sounds more like it's for covering the salaries for existing personnel.

Hi Teresa,

I don't recall mentioning this to the grant officer, but if it states salaries in the eligible expenses, I assume it could be for current staff, contract staff or a new staff member. I can email/call them just to confirm that it is the case.

Hi Teresa,

Quick question regarding the OTF grant. I am almost ready to submit but I just saw this question on the portal that I missed and forgot to put into the google doc.
Here it is:
They just need a percentage basically. Would you say it's maybe 70%? Let me know.

Thanks!

Hi Camille,

That's about what I would say: 65% - 70%
