OAC Operating

Hi Camille, 

Touching base about the OAC operating grant. Regarding this question: 

I'm looking at what you have in the draft, and I think your method is throwing me off as it appears to be a mix of information from last year's grant mixed into material you have written. This is a big question and I would like to help with it, so please let me know. I'm also open to a very quick meeting to talk it through if it will be faster. I would like to tackle this question tomorrow.

Thank you for your email! I totally understand that it is confusing, I wasn't able to work on this yesterday and I just wanted to say that it isn't at a stage where I thought you would start editing - I think it's not there yet. I know the deadline is approaching fast, so I am on it today, and can definitely meet briefly to clarify and maybe discuss together what are the main points to address in this specific question. I can meet at any time today, please just let me know what time works best for you.

- review BOD list and ensure Camille has the correct copy

- finish Financial question in OAC grant doc

- review/edit artistic programming plans question in OAC grant doc

- will review/edit 1000 word question once Camille gives the green light

- compile support material

- send Teresa BOD list for review

- finish 1000 word question and let Teresa know so she can review/edit

- upload support materials upon receipt

Thanks for the nudge! I meant to send these last night. The images are now in the OAC folder. I'll also upload an Item list with image details.

Yes, I think just those would be enough, since it is mentioned in the guidelines that if we have documentation on our website, we are allowed to only include a link to it. 

I think it's great to have the 2 essays accompanying the exhibitions. 

I just went on the website to double-check and Benesiinabandan's video is not up anymore, so maybe we should include the still from that work too?

Just let me know and I can start uploading. I can do it later tonight if you prefer to give it some more thought, no problem!

I appreciate you thinking that through with me. I've deleted the other images in the support material folder. Please upload what is left in the folder - five images in total (which includes Scott's) and two essays. 

The 2019 - 2020 and 2021 - 2022 activity lists are now finished and uploaded to the OAC folder as PDFs. I'll upload the final 2020 - 2021 shortly too.

I will add the financials question to the OAC draft doc. shortly. I have some meetings this morning but I want to have another read-through first. Is there anything outstanding that I'm missing (aside from the financials question)?

I was also having a look at the writing this morning, and I can confirm that the financial question is the last bit missing.

I am finishing the Board List and Staff List (they ask that we include responsibilities, expertise, etc.) and I would just like to run those by you once I'm done, just to double check. 

I have an appointment at 2:00 PM today, but after that I can finish uploading all the materials and submit the grant.

I have uploaded most of the material but I just wanted to have you look over the Staff and Board list (I know it wounds silly) just to make sure I didn't miss anything major. One last thing I forgot to ask: for the images in supporting material, I was wondering if you had the information for each photo. They request specifically 1. Title 2. Year 3. Applicant's Credit/Role (I assume FCG is the host for exhibitions?) 4. Description (materials, size) 5. Supporting artist's credit/role (I guess the artist names? The language is a bit confusing)

Everything is uploaded. I just saw on the last tab (Declaration) that we have to put in the amount requested. Would you have access to it through CADAC projections for next year?

It's the last thing missing and then we can submit!

I make the CADAC projections, so yeah, I have access. Haha! We're requesting $30,000
