Dear Mitchel,
I have been thinking more about the richness of our conversation last week, and it has prompted me to rethink some of my ideas about how I want to approach the publication and your contribution.
Specifically, I think it might be more interesting to publish a conversation between us about the project and our intersecting interests.
I wonder if you took notes during our meeting, and if so, whether some of the questions you posed to me could become the scaffolding for a conversation between the two of us, with room for mutual exchange.
What do you think of this idea?
Warm greetings,
Josh

Hi Josh,

Very sorry for the lag, these last few weeks before we (hopefully) fly out of NL have been pretty full on.

I think the idea of a conversation/dialogue around the show would work vey well. It was great to talk the other day, and I'd love to flesh those early questions out into something more structured/expansive.

I have only very brief notes, but I'd be happy to put some of the questions raised into a bit of a scaffold to start us off.

In terms of timelines, I will be a little scattered in the coming weeks but I think the back-and-forth format seems perfect and will allow for some give and take while the project develops.

Looking forward to talking more!

Cheers,
M

Hi Mitch,
No problem. Slow responses are fine with me.
I understand that you are in a strange, doubly-suspended situation right now, and don’t expect rapid correspondence.
But yes, I think an interview / conversation might allow for more depth to be developed. If you have a chance to make some point-form notes from our earlier conversation, I can also try to fill in what I can recall.
Maybe some sort of google doc would be a good idea, which we can both contribute to as the process unfolds.
Good luck with the travel attempts, and also the Carriageworks project is so strong! I am really grateful to be in conversation with you.
My best,
Josh
