Dear Alex,

Josh and I have been working on a nomination letter for the 2021 Lacey Prize (deadline August 30th). Here's a bit more information about the prize: https://www.gallery.ca/about/prizes/lacey-prize

Teresa had already reached out to █████ ██████ from the Museum London to act as a nominator, but we haven't heard back from him yet (maybe you could access FCG's email and double-check?).

We were also thinking that someone like ███████ ██████ might have a stronger impact on the jury, as she's been involved with FCG in the past and is still active in the London community.

We were wondering if you have already been in contact with her and if so, if you would be able to ask her to nominate FCG for the Lacey prize? We just thought that if it's coming from someone she knows there might be a better chance of her saying yes!

Just so I have all the details - the nomination letter you're working on would be what ███████ signs and submits in support of us? Is there anything we'd be asking her to do specifically?

We will be providing the letter, that she can of course tweak and modify if needed. They also require a short bio from the nominator (200 words). We will fill the application package with all of FCG's info and she can submit it by the deadline.

hi Alex,

Thanks for the update. It's a bit depressing that ███████ is unavailable. Is there anyone else you can think of who would be well positioned to nominate FCG? I just feel uncertain about █████ and was wondering if there was anyone more active or with a better profile.
