Regarding:
Applicant Name: Joshua Schwebel
Application: The employee
Application File Number: 1003-19-2135
The Final Report due date for this grant is: 01-09-2021
This date is based on the expected completion date of your project or the end date of your funding cycle (for multi-year grants). If the end date of your project or activities has been delayed, please prepare and submit a Project Update Report (not for core grant recipients). In the Update Report, you can ask for the final report due date to be extended to match the new timing of your project or activities.
Note that an overdue final report will block future grant payments, and that it needs to be submitted and then approved by a program officer before the due date to avoid this. Normally, Council officers review reports within 10 business days, though this could be longer around deadlines due to a high volume of inquiries or applications.
If the end date of your project or activities has not been delayed, but there are other reasons why you cannot complete the final report before the due date, you can submit a Request for Final Report Extension. This might be necessary when the report cannot be completed on time due to personal or administrative reasons, such as an lengthy illness or absence by the person responsible for preparing the report, or when the report and/or financial information must be approved at a meeting that will not take place until close to or after the due date. Note that you can only receive one Extension for Final Report per application.
You can start a report or ask for an extension from the Reporting box in the Grants Awarded section of your dashboard. Be sure to select a report from the Reporting box related to this specific application. Applicants must start the report themselves, but they can assign a third party person to help complete the questions and prepare the financial information. However, applicants must submit the report themselves.
Log in to the portal when you are ready to prepare your report for this application.
Note: You may be eligible for Application Assistance to pay someone to help you with the reporting process if you are experiencing difficulty and self-identify as:
- an artist who is Deaf, hard of hearing, has a disability or is living with a mental illness
- a First Nations, Inuit or Métis artist facing language, geographic and/or cultural barriers.
