Dear Josh,

Thank you for this! I would like to add 2 things to the agenda.
About my meeting with Canada Heritage, it's actually tomorrow afternoon after our meeting, so if we can maybe discuss any questions I should ask the officer, that would be very helpful.
Also, I found this other federal grant called the Healthy Communities Initiative (deadline June 25) that I would like to go over to see if we have any interest in applying.

Thanks and I'm looking forward to our meeting tomorrow!

Best,

Hi both,

Just wanted to update you that I had my call with Paul at Canada Heritage and he was so nice! Lots of questions answered and I felt a good vibe. He said things like: "we are on your side, we really want you to succeed" and that I can call/email him anytime now that we have had this first contact.

Have a great week!

Best,

Hi both,

That's such good news, Camille! Can you imagine, 'on our side'??

Also a quick update that Alex (BOD president) and I went to view the space I mentioned at our last meeting. We also brought along a friend who works in construction and for a contractor, to help us talk through redevelopment of the space, etc. It all seems very promising and very affordable. We are heading back tomorrow evening to view the space after the sun has gone down because it has a lot of skylights.

I think it's best to chat about it at our meeting on Wednesday rather than share my notes without context.

Josh, when you make the agenda can you please add Canada Cultural Spaces grant. If we decide to move forward I want to discuss setting a July 1st deadline for ourselves.

My best,
